Claverton Down feels peaceful—until you’re moving there. Lugging boxes along Norwood Avenue with no parking in sight had me questioning all my life choices 😅. The hill leading up towards the University of Bath 🏫? Brutal. The sofa nearly rolled back down! But then I caught the view near the American Museum & Gardens 🌿, and it almost made the sweat worthwhile. At least the kitchen gear fit through the doorway—small mercies! Lunch was a lifesaver: I grabbed a sandwich from The Packhorse Inn 🍔 and recharged before tackling the final load. By sunset, everything was inside, no broken plates, and I even had time for a quick wander around Claverton Down Road to admire the greenery. Stressful, sweaty, but ultimately a win.
