Moving days in Bathford-Bath 🚚

In Bathford, the van decided to play hide-and-seek—satnav took us down Church Street, which was way too narrow ⛔. Cue a 10-point turn while locals politely shook their heads at my driving. Once parked near Bathford Bridge, the real fun began: carrying boxes up Bathford Hill. Who needs a gym membership when you’ve got stairs and steep roads? 🏔️ Midway, I rewarded myself with tea at The Crown Inn ☕—strong enough to fuel the wardrobe haul. At least the kitchen table slid through the door without drama, though the bedframe nearly took out a lampshade on the way up. By evening, I was knackered but smiling, looking out toward the River Avon and thinking, “Well, that wasn’t so bad after all.” Bathford definitely made me earn my pint 🍻.
