🛡️ Carriage of Goods for Hire and Reward certificate of motor insurance: I have secured explicit confirmation from my Hire and Reward van insurers so that, where appropriate, (non-contracted) passenger carriage is allowed at the driver’s discretion. No charge is made for this as it does not form part of the contracted service. By investing in this higher level of coverage (a feature missing from most standard man-and-van policies), you and your belongings are legally protected at all times.
🛡️ Goods in Transit Insurance: I provide comprehensive Goods in Transit cover for every journey, including up to £50,000 for courier & parcel deliveries and £5,000 for household removals, ensuring your items are protected from the moment they are loaded until they reach their destination. Dedicated courier work is fully insured under a specialist Goods in Transit policy, covering professionally packed and consigned items while in transit. The £50,000 Courier Limit is designed for high-volume or high-value commercial goods (like electronics or retail stock) often moved in a single trip.
🛡️ Public Liability Insurance: I am fully protected by £1,000,000 in Public Liability insurance, underwritten by the A+ rated global insurers HDI Global Specialty SE and Great Lakes Insurance UK Limited. This specialist policy is specifically tailored to our core business activities of furniture removal and courier services, ensuring professional coverage for every job we undertake. Cover includes protection against accidental third-party bodily injury and property damage that may occur during a move.
🛡️ Enhanced DBS Certificate: An Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check is the highest level of background check available in the UK, confirming that I am suitable to work in private homes and around vulnerable individuals. I hold a current Enhanced DBS certificate and am registered on the DBS Update Service, with verification details available on request.
