Van & I is ready to assist with moves, deliveries, and collections across this proudly no-nonsense part of Cardiff. I work all over Splott — from Moorland Road to Walker Road, right through to Portmanmoor Industrial Estate and the edges of Tremorfa.
I’ve shifted wardrobes out of tight terraces on Habershon Street, helped clear out garages near Splott Market, and done flat moves from Railway Street to Adamsdown. Splott’s got its quirks — one-ways, tight corners, and the occasional surprise mattress on the pavement — but I know the rhythm of the area and how to get things done.
From last-minute pickups to full vanloads, I offer flexible, friendly, and down-to-earth man and van help. Whether you’re moving house, clearing out a flat, or picking up a bargain off Facebook Marketplace — I’ve got the van (and the patience) to handle it.
Check the contact page or message me directly — I’ll get back to you quicker than you can say "Splott Road traffic."
If there’s one thing Splott is famous for, it’s character – and today’s move had plenty. Starting off near Splott Market 🛍️, I quickly realised the van 🚚 would not be making it down the packed side street. Cue: trolley relay to the door.
Inside, the house was a treasure trove of quirky antiques – grandfather clocks, a gramophone, even a giant mirror that barely made it through the front door 🛑. At least the neighbours cheered us on – Splott spirit in full force 👏.
Lunch meant a stop at The Cottage pub 🍺, where the gossip was as lively as the atmosphere. The second half of the day was a battle with an attic staircase steeper than Pen y Fan 🏔️, carrying boxes labelled “fragile” (which, of course, weren’t).
By sunset, I was tired but smiling. Splott’s chaos has a charm to it – unpredictable, noisy, and always memorable.
