Van & I covers everything from quick furniture drops to full flat moves — right across the leafy lanes and bustling high streets of this vibrant Cardiff suburb. I regularly work between Albany Road and Roath Park, and know the ins and outs of Penylan, Plasnewydd, and the Cathays border too.
I’ve helped folks collect vintage sideboards from Wellfield Road, cleared out student digs off City Road, and even squeezed a sofa down the tight terraces near Keppoch Street. Roath’s mix of townhouses, garden flats, and hidden cul-de-sacs keeps things interesting — but I know where to park, how to load safely, and when to avoid the Albany Road traffic.
Whether it's a full-house move, a Facebook Marketplace collection, or a one-off IKEA flat-pack run, I offer friendly, efficient man and van support right here in Roath. Need help today or tomorrow? No problem — just drop me a message and I’ll let you know my availability.
You can reach me via the contact link in the menu or head back to the homepage for more info. Always happy to help.
Roath days are never dull. Today’s customer lived off Albany Road – right in the thick of it 🚚. Double yellows everywhere, cyclists weaving past, and parking attendants ready to pounce ⛔. First mission: hauling boxes of books (seriously, who still owns encyclopaedias?) up three flights of stairs in a Victorian terrace 🛑.
By mid-morning, I took a tactical break at Waterloo Gardens Tearooms ☕ – best carrot cake in town, no regrets. Then it was back to squeezing a sofa through a bay window, much to the amusement of passing shoppers. Roath Lake 🌊 offered a calming backdrop as I grabbed lunch, though the ducks seemed to eye up my sandwich.
The kicker came at the end – a wardrobe that simply refused to fit upstairs. Solution? It’s now proudly assembled in the living room. Sometimes, compromises are part of the job. Roath moves are noisy, lively, and full of character – much like the neighbourhood itself.
