Van & I handles moves, deliveries, collections , and everyday transport jobs across Liswerry — from Corporation Road to Nash Road — and I’m regularly out around Queensway Meadows, Somerton, and the Retail Park.
Maybe it’s a sofa run from Newport Retail Park, a washing machine up to a flat near Lliswerry High School, or a garage clear-out by Lliswerry Pond. I know the SDR (City Bridge) traffic flows, the tight bays off Stephenson Street, and the best cut-throughs when Spytty gets busy — so your job runs smoothly.
From home moves and office drop-offs to single-item pick-ups, I offer friendly, flexible, professional van help right here in Liswerry. Short-notice bookings welcome — just send a quick message.
For details or to get booked in, head to the homepage or use the contact link in the menu — I’ll reply promptly.
The morning starts on Corporation Road, where Liswerry’s traffic is already testing my patience 🛑. Vans, school runs, and the odd tractor somehow make a perfect storm. My first delivery is tucked behind the Lliswerry High School grounds. Easy enough, except there’s no actual parking. So, hazards flashing 🚨, I squeeze into a bus stop (sorry, Newport Bus).
From there, I trundle toward Spytty Retail Park 🛒. The temptation of a Greggs sausage roll is strong, but I resist… until I don’t. A quick pit stop later, crumbs on the steering wheel, I’m back in action.
The real challenge of Liswerry is the narrow terraced streets. One wrong turn and suddenly I’m stuck behind a wheelie bin brigade 🚮. Add in a delivery up three flights of stairs, with a barking dog echoing in the hallway, and it feels like a mini obstacle course.
Midday, I swing past Lliswerry Pond 🦆. It’s peaceful—until a downpour hits, soaking me as I jog parcels across a driveway. Classic Welsh weather 🌧️.
The final drops take me close to the Newport Stadium, where County AFC sometimes play. A customer asks if I’ll be at the next match—sadly, no, unless they’re letting van drivers on the pitch ⚽.
Liswerry is full of character: busy, unpredictable, but always buzzing. And with a Greggs bag on the passenger seat, I call that a win.
